When in the course of literary endeavors, it becomes necessary for writers of the American spirit to convene under their banner, and to assume among the great scribes of history, a station to which the pursuit of freedom of speech entitles them, a decent respect to the opinions of our peers compels us to declare the causes which impel us to establish The American Writers Guild.
The Guild is here to promote and encourage writings of all Americans to the effect of every hopeful author has a platform to share their voice. While newly formed we aim to establish as seasoned Board of Directors and lifelong partners and sponsors who most align with our vision. Our Mission is to welcome all Americans who want to put words on paper to help them grow and navigate their writing careers.
Our Vision
To introduce new American literary works that hold to a level of respectability and class; so that we may read about holding ourselves to higher standard and demonstrate empathy to our fellow Americans. To see the days when words could inspire instead of insult, when pages turned led to innovation instead of online posts that led to discouragement. To teach us to not be fearful of our power and that, "The Pen is Always Sharper than the Sword."
